About the Role

As our Robotics Expert, you will leverage state-of-the-art methods to design and implement practical, deployable robotics solutions that serve multiple industrial sectors. You will be responsible for ensuring our systems can operate reliably in real-world industrial environments, from pharmaceutical facilities to demanding manufacturing floors and challenging outdoors environments such as deep sea.


Examples of responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing state-of-the-art solutions for robotic perception, manipulation, and task planning

  • Implementing automated testing frameworks for continuous validation of robotics algorithms across diverse scenarios

  • Keeping track of the latest research in Robotics and identify opportunities for practical application


You'll collaborate closely with our Robotics and AI Experts and Engineers to integrate solutions into complete robotic systems, ensuring seamless performance across diverse use cases and customer requirements.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications:

  • PhD in ML-driven Robotics or related field (postdoc or equivalent industry experience preferred)

  • Strong programming skills in Python and experience with robotics middleware 

  • Track record of adapting research prototypes to production-ready systems

  • Publications or contributions to open-source robotics/ML projects


Preferred Experience in at least one of these areas, and willingness to learn about the others:

  • Experience in designing and implementing autonomous navigation systems for diverse mobile platforms (including deployment and evaluation on physical robots)

  • Experience in designing and implementing solutions for complex robotics manipulation on diverse platforms (including deployment and evaluation on physical robots)

  • Experience with vision-language models (VLMs), multimodal learning, or robotic foundation models

  • Deep expertise in robotics simulation platforms and physics engines
